Stephen Curry is feistier than he looks. That may go double for his wife.

Ayesha Curry, eight months pregnant with the couple’s third child, was accosted by a Houston fan on Thursday night while leaving the Toyota Center according to TMZ Sports.

The altercation came shortly after the Rockets’ 98-94 victory over the Warriors, a win that gave Houston a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series. According to TMZ, a man bumped her belly and asked Curry, “Doesn’t losing feel like getting punched in the gut?”

Curry said the man continued to follow her.

TMZ reported that Curry described the interaction on a series of tweets. “I thought it was an accident at first,” she reportedly said in one, “because it was crowded and then he made that gut comment and continued to follow me.”

“I should’ve got him in the face,” she continued, “instead of saving his life by removing that cigarette he was swinging around in my face. Wish there was full footage.”

Actually, there is a bit of video. It’s real enlightened stuff.

Another Rockets fan responded to one of Curry’s tweets with a profane comment about her cooking show.

In response, Curry, according to TMZ, tweeted, “The fact you have the audacity to post this after this man bumped me in my 8-month pregnant belly … And continued to follow me and taunt me with his camera is beyond me…but this is America, right.”

As of Friday afternoon there were no tweets on Curry’s Twitter feed related to the incident in Houston, except for her final takeaway:
