OAKLAND — A man fatally shot in West Oakland Wednesday night was identified by police Friday as Curtis Richardson, 57.
No motive has been determined yet for the killing and no arrests have been made.
Richardson, who police said lived in the area, was shot about 7:18 p.m. Wednesday as he stood in the 3100 block of West Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the killer. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 510-238-3821 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
