FREMONT — Officers have released a description and sketch of a suspect sought in connection with a residential burglary and indecent exposure incident last week, authorities said.

At 2:20 a.m. Thursday, dispatchers took a 911 call reporting the burglary on Andromeda Circle, and responding officers learned that the suspect went into a house’s side yard minutes earlier before opening an unlocked rear glass sliding door to get inside.
Noise from the suspect then awoke an 18-year-old female, who opened her eyes and screamed after seeing the suspect standing naked and masturbating by her bedroom doorway. The suspect ran out of the house, police said.
The resident described the suspect as a white or mixed-race olive-skinned athletic but not muscular male in his early twenties about 5-foot-5 or 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds with dirty-brown hair in a short fade-style haircut. The suspect also had a tattoo on his left arm of a thin green ring or band, similar to barbed wire or a thorny rose stem encircling his lower-left bicep.
A police sketch artist worked with the witness to create a sketch of the suspect, which police sent out Tuesday afternoon.
