PLEASANTON — The California Highway Patrol has reopened the Bernal Avenue on-ramp to northbound Interstate 680 after police activity led officers to issue a Sig-alert, authorities said Sunday.
The closure and alert were sent at 6:07 p.m., according to the CHP. Drivers were advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes. The alert was lifted just before 9:20 p.m..
No information was immediately available on the nature of the activity from Pleasanton police, who did not return a call Sunday evening.
