LIVERMORE — Firefighters were at the scene Friday morning of a three-alarm commercial structure fire in Livermore, officials said.

The blaze broke out about 10 a.m. at the structure on the 6600 block of Las Positas Road in a commercial area. It was not immediately known which business was affected.

The unknown business however, in a warehouse-like structure has storage high up closer to the ceiling, said Battalion Chief Aaron Lacey.  This high volume of items likely contributed to the fire quickly escalating to three-alarms.

In a video tweeted by Alameda County Fire, which is assisting Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department, it appears that mattresses were inside the warehouse.

The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department was being assisted by Alameda County firefighters.

No injuries were reported.
