‘Invisible kid,’ his familyand his walk charming
Re: “The Invisible Kid: How did he do it?” (Page A1, Sept. 2):
Though the story discussed the alleged negligence of HUSD and the perils of children in urban life, as a former resident of Hayward, I enjoyed tracing his winding path home.
I especially found the description of the boy’s family life to be most charming. How wonderful for the children to have their grandmother and both parents to help raise them.
And what a personality this young man has. Families such as these are the heart of a healthy community.
