OAKLAND – Two women were shot while driving in a vehicle in East Oakland on Saturday afternoon, police said.
Both women were transported to a hospital and reported in stable condition. The shooting happened about 3:33 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of 22nd Ave. Police said the women were driving when the car was hit by gunfire and they were wounded.
Police don’t have a motive yet for the shooting and have not made any arrests. Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
