OAKLAND — A man was fatally shot Monday afternoon in East Oakland, authorities said.
Police have not released his name but said they believe he was 28.
The shooting was reported about 1:15 p.m. in the 7300 block of Bancroft Avenue near the Eastmont Town Center.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not determined a motive yet for the shooting and have not made any arrests.
