My name is Lilian. I am sweet and delicate, a flower looking for someone to help me blossom. I have already traveled many legs in my life’s journey, but I know my best chapter is yet to come! I would do well in a home setting that is on the calmer side since I am a little shy at first. But when I am shown love and affection, I am quick to give it right back! I’m available for adoption through Berkeley Humane’s Foster to Family program. This means that I live off-site, but I’m available to set up a meet-and-greet at the volunteer foster’s home any day of the week. Please email fostertofamily@berkeleyhumane.org to set up an appointment. Visit Berkeley Humane Society’s pets of the week at 2700 Ninth St. in Berkeley or call 510-845-7735.

Thunder’s adoption fee has already been paid. That just makes a great deal sweeter! She’s a very affectionate, smart and playful 7-year-old dog. Thunder is good on leash, responds to basic commands and loves playing, especially fetch and tug. She gets along great with people in general, but small children can hit a nerve, so Thunder’s seeking an all-adult family or one with kids older than 10. Cats are an unknown. Thunder might get along with another dog if gradually introduced. Come meet sweet Thunder at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS) at 1590 Fortmann Way in Alameda, open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday or 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. See all our animals at alamedaanimalshelter.org. For more information, call 510-337-8565.

Are you looking for a medium-sized friend who loves to wiggle and play? Meet me, Indiana! Some call me Indie for short. Spend some time with me and you’ll see I’m the best combo of fun, playful energy and lovebug. Did I mention I’m also great at learning to fetch? I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog. I’m excited my adoption fee is waived so that my adopters can splurge on more toys for me! East Bay SPCA, Oakland, 8323 Baldwin St., from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Find this pet’s profile online at eastbayspca.org/adoptions/adopt-me.

Pudge (ID# A129946) is a little on the shy side, but bring out a toy, a ball or a little mouse, and he will warm up to you. This beautiful young 9-month-old tabby would love to be your feline friend for life. Dixie (ID# A130300) is the sweetest, wiggliest and nicest little 39-pound pibble with the most gorgeous eyes! Dixie has great manners, walks well on a leash, sits for treats and loves everyone she meets. Ask to meet either of these pets by their identification numbers above.
