Alameda police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing from a restaurant’s office Wednesday.
Police posted surveillance video Saturday from the Alameda offices of Burma Superstar, the popular Burmese restaurant that also has locations in Oakland and San Francisco.
The video shows the suspect entering the offices around 3 p.m. Wednesday. Police have not said what was taken, but said the suspect is wanted on suspicion of grand theft.
The man is believed to be 35 to 45 years old, between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet tall, weighing 180 to 230 pounds, authorities said. He is seen in the video wearing an Adidas baseball hat and a grey sweatshirt with red lettering.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Alameda Police Department at (510) 337-8304, and to reference case number 19-00742.
