There’s good reason to tip lavishly at these restaurant fundraisers.
Law enforcement officers will be waiting on tables — and doing it for a good cause.
Called Tip-A-Cop, the events will raise money for the Special Olympics of Northern California. Other benefits include polar plunges and torch runs. All tips will be donated.
Here’s what’s coming up this week:

SMITH’S LANDING SEAFOOD GRILL: Law enforcement personnel will be on hand during the dinner hours from 5 to p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at this restaurant in Antioch, 1 Marina Plaza. www.smithslandingantioch.com
