OAKLAND — The Chase Bank near Lake Merritt was robbed by an unknown suspect who fled on foot Friday.
About 2:20 p.m., an lone male suspect entered the Chase Bank at 270 E. 18th St. and handed a note to a teller. No weapons were seen, authorities said.
The man, who was able to make off with an undisclosed amount of cash, fled on foot toward Third Avenue.
