OAKLAND — Firefighters and police are on the scene of a vehicle 100 feet down an embankment off Grizzly Peak Boulevard in the Oakland hills looking for possible occupants, authorities said.
The overturned vehicle was reported about 8:49 a.m. Friday below Grizzly Peak east of Marlborough Terrace.
It was not known how long the vehicle may have been there.
Rescue personnel were trying to get to the vehicle to see if anyone was inside and if so were making preparations about how to extract them and bring them back to the roadway.
