Please, Rep. Khanna,
run for higher office
Ro Khanna understands what residents of the Bay Area told local pollsters recently: the “housing crisis” is an overpopulation crisis driven by developers, tech execs and growth groups.
Their agenda is to maximize profits while imperiling the Bay Area’s environment. With collusion from government officials, like Scott Wiener, they attempt to subvert local regulations and force maximum development while destroying residents’ quality of life. They attempt to have residents pass taxes to pay for housing and transportation fixes that their own expansion has necessitated. A classic case of “I profit and others pay the consequences”.
Rep. Khanna has a better and more American view of how to handle expansive growth: share the wealth and help others. He would save our area and help struggling areas of this country that have land and resources to support jobs, transportation and people. This is the best thinking I have seen in a long time. Please, Rep. Khanna, run for higher office.
