OAKLAND — A 26-year-old man fatally shot last Friday in East Oakland was identified by police Tuesday as Michael McNair of Alameda.
So far, no arrests have been made in the case, and a motive has not been determined.
McNair was found dead about 6:15 a.m. Friday alongside a fence at the rear of a building in the 2800 block of Parker Avenue, just north of MacArthur Boulevard.
Police are still trying to determine what McNair was doing in the area and what time he was actually shot.
