Bay Area celebrity chef and “Top Chef” alum Tanya Holland has teamed up with Whole Foods on a new lineup of beer-friendly food.
The menu by the Brown Sugar Kitchen chef will make its debut Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Floodcraft Taproom inside the Oakland store near Lake Merritt.
Designed to pair with beers made by Whole Foods brew master Guy Cameron in San Jose, the dishes will include main plates such as a Vegetarian Muffuletta, a Creole BBQ Burger and a Fried Chicken Sandwich with spicy green slaw. Want small bites? Think Creole Deviled Eggs, Jerk Pork Belly Sliders and Smoky-Spicy-Sweet Chicken Wings.
It’s a good way for Holland devotees to get their fix while awaiting the opening of her upcoming eateries in uptown Oakland and at the San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace.
