CONCORD — A suspect robbed a cell-phone store at gunpoint Sunday afternoon, and police said they are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect.

Officers responded to Cricket Wireless, 1803 Monument Boulevard, for a report of the robbery, and learned that a man had walked in and pointed a handgun at a cashier before demanding money from the register.

The man then took an amount of money before fleeing. No one was injured, police said.

Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect, described as a Latino man in his 20s with a thin mustache, armed with a black handgun and wearing a dark-grey sweatshirt with a red-and-white Reebok logo on the front, dark-colored jeans and dark-colored boots or shoes.

Anyone with information should call Concord police Det. Sgt. Mark Robison at 925-671-5074.

Contact George Kelly at 408-859-5180.
